Everything people ask us about BlueNexus: the workspace, agents, connectors, pricing and your data.
No, and that's the point of the interface. Most AI today is chat-focused, which is why teams need training on "what to type." BlueNexus is designed to feel more like editing a Google Doc: you just know what to do and the user interface guides you to get work done. Teams can be brought in without a training program, and without everyone ending up using it in different ways.
Because all of that AI is fragmented and chat-focused. Each app's AI lives in its own isolated environment, and the context in one doesn't carry over to another, even though they're all crucial parts of your business. BlueNexus is an AI-first workspace: one place where the agent has shared context across all your systems, and where everyone on your team can use AI in their daily work without needing training.
Where it makes sense, yes. BlueNexus puts your team, your agents and your tools in one workspace with shared context: chat, documents, tasks and approvals live side by side, and an agent in a BlueNexus conversation can see all your connected systems and team context, whereas Slack only knows what's in Slack. You don't have to drop anything to start: BlueNexus connects to the tools you've already got (Google, Microsoft, Slack, HubSpot, Notion and 200-odd others) and pulls their context and data in, syncing both ways. Most teams connect first, let BlueNexus sit on top and do the joining-up, then wind down the tools BlueNexus does better over time, entirely on their terms. Replacing your existing tools isn't the objective, it's a side effect.
Strip the hype away and an agent is software that can take a task, make a few decisions, use your tools, and get something done, with a human able to check its work. It's a step on from a chatbot that just answers questions, and a lot less mysterious than the word makes it sound. In BlueNexus an agent works like a teammate: it has a role, the context it's allowed to see, the tools it's allowed to use, and an approval step before anything important happens.
Context is everything the work needs to make sense: the people, the history, the documents, the decisions living across your tools. Today the silo is that each team member works in isolation with their own AI, with no shared context, so you keep re-explaining yourself. BlueNexus pools it in one place and governs who sees what, shared by team, channel or project, so people and agents only get the context that's actually theirs.
For running your business, no, BlueNexus replaces that. Where you'd keep other tools: coding and design. BlueNexus isn't a software-building or design suite. You can even connect BlueNexus to Claude or ChatGPT to share and sync context in both directions. (You can also push website changes through BlueNexus via a GitHub connector, but that's not its primary purpose.)
BlueNexus ships with 8 prebuilt agents out of the box, and they're more than enough to get you started. Contact us if you're interested in building your own agents for yourself or your clients.
You don't have to pick a provider. BlueNexus gives you three tiers you choose per workflow: Standard for the everyday 95%, Ultra for complex jobs such as corporate strategy or legal analysis, and Confidential, which runs in a Trusted Execution Environment, a sealed black box where even we can't see your data, ideal for sensitive data or regulated industries like health, finance, law etc. We sit on top of the best upstream models and quietly swap them out as better, cheaper ones appear, so you get the upgrade automatically without changing a thing.
Yes. We continually improve and upgrade our default agent capabilities, and we sit on top of the best upstream models, so you get better AI without changing a thing.
BlueNexus agents identify meeting transcripts, link them to meetings in your calendar, extract agenda items and next steps, and create tasks from them. We sync transcripts for some transcript platforms; you own and can export your data, and you can build automations on top, e.g. "look at the last 24 hours of transcripts, work out if someone closed a great deal, and notify me so I can give them kudos."
Yes. Every agent has its own email address, or you could point your existing orders@ inbox at it. Alternatively, you could connect a service like Twilio for SMS/WhatsApp, and the agent reads the incoming stream with access to your inventory, CRM, and accounting. It can prepare the order and push it into the right systems, either fully automated or, to start, as a review step: the agent drafts, a human ticks "approve" or edits. Most of the work is automated; you keep the final say.
Browse our connectors page to search for your tools and learn more. BlueNexus connects to everything that is technically possible. If a connector doesn't exist yet, just ask and we'll add it. We also support MCP servers, which you can add yourself.
We connect everything that is technically possible. Where a platform permits access, we connect it; what we can't control is what third-party apps choose to expose via their APIs or systems. Connection infrastructure is where this company started: 200+ connectors, of which 110 we built ourselves. Off-the-shelf MCP servers are often limited, sometimes 20 capabilities where the underlying API offers 50-100, so we build our own for deeper coverage.
Yes. Our aim: if you come to us with an API that matters to your business, as long as we can get access to the API and a test account, we should have it live for you within a week.
Seats are free for everyone on your team and every agent they build. You pay for the work: prepay and pay as you go for agent usage, no subscription. You control spend with transparency: set an organisation-wide budget, and see a detailed usage breakdown of who's using what and where background processing is going. See our pricing page for details.
No, and this is one of BlueNexus's most important features, because it saves you significant money. Most automations are just watching for a change (new order, new email). We designed that watching layer with no LLM in it: deterministic code pings the server, and the LLM only triggers when something actually changes. Poll every 15 minutes and you pay nothing until there's something to do. The incumbent way, an LLM polling a server every few minutes, charges you for the waiting.
Yes, the workspace is the whole organisation, with one shared budget you control. You can budget per team member (e.g. add $50 of budget per seat; one person might spend $10, another $100).
Chatting between humans is free. When you tag an agent and it does work, that agent usage is what you pay for: the agentic layer is the core value, and we want to incentivise using everything else freely.
You control it. Access is role based, so people and agents only ever see what you've given them permission to see, right down to individual connections and data: granular read/write permissions per project and per person. Every action an agent takes is logged with a full audit trail, and anything sensitive can require a human to sign off before it happens. Governance is the foundation the whole thing is built on.
Contact us to export all your data. You can also talk to your agent to export your data anywhere you connect. You're always in control.
